Body temperature refers to the internal temperature of the human body. Everyone knows that there are three ways to measure body temperature. One is to measure axillary temperature, one is to measure oral temperature. The oral temperature is 0.2 to 0.4 degrees higher than the axillary temperature, and the other is to measure rectal temperature. The rectal temperature is 0.3 to 0.5 degrees higher than the oral temperature. The body temperature is relatively constant. A normal person's body temperature fluctuates slightly within 24 hours. A one degree range is normal. People have different physiques and the temperature under their armpits is also different. Ordinary people generally believe that the normal armpit temperature should be between 36 and 37 degrees. In fact, this is not the case. The armpit temperature of many people is a little over 35 degrees, which is also normal. Before measuring body temperature, first shake the mercury column on the thermometer to below 35℃, and then disinfect the thermometer with an alcohol cotton ball. Axillary temperature measurement method: first wipe off the sweat from the armpit, place the end of the mercury column on the watch deep into the armpit, bend your arm over your chest and clamp it, and take it out after 10 minutes. A human body thermometer is a mercury thermometer. It has a glass tube at the top and a glass bubble at the bottom. Pure mercury is filled in the bulb and at the lower end of the tube, and the tube is marked with scales. Since the human body temperature does not exceed 42℃ and the minimum is not lower than 35℃, the scale of the thermometer is 35℃ to 42℃, and each small grid represents 0.1℃. Normal body temperature and measurement method: 1. Oral measurement: First disinfect the thermometer with 75% alcohol, place it under the tongue, close your lips, leave it for 5 minutes and then take out the reading. The normal value is 36.3~37.2℃. 2. Axillary measurement: This method is not prone to cross infection and is the most commonly used method for measuring body temperature. Wipe the sweat from the armpits, place the mercury end of the thermometer on the top of the armpits, clamp it with the upper arm thermometer, and ask the patient not to move. Read the temperature after 10 minutes. The normal value is 36~37℃. 3. Anal measurement: mostly used for comatose patients or children. The patient lies on his back, lubricates the anal gauge head with oil, and slowly inserts it into the anus until it reaches 1/2 of the anal gauge. Read the temperature after 3 minutes. The normal value is 36.5~37.7℃. Abnormal body temperature: 37.4~38℃ is low fever, 38.1~39℃ is moderate fever, 39.1~41℃ is high fever, and above 41℃ is very high fever. If the low fever is caused by a cold, you can drink more water at home, preferably freshly boiled water, and blow on it while drinking until you can drink it. When you start to sweat slightly, the low fever is half cured. You can also take some Chinese patent medicine such as cold and heat-clearing granules. If the fever does not go away after taking it, you can take it again after three to four hours. |
