Levofloxacin lactate

Levofloxacin lactate

Antibacterial drugs are the most widely used drugs in clinical practice today. Among the many antibacterial drugs, levofloxacin lactate is one of the relatively effective ones. It has good therapeutic effects on the treatment of many bacterial infections, such as chlamydia infections, some Escherichia coli, and streptococci that cause pneumonia. It has very good antibacterial effects and is a drug with good clinical antibacterial effects.

However, friends should be reminded that although the antibacterial effect of levofloxacin lactate is relatively strong, like many antibacterial drugs, it has a certain impact on the human body. Therefore, when using levofloxacin lactate to treat diseases, you must pay attention to some matters.

【Indications】

It is suitable for moderate to severe respiratory system, urinary system, digestive system and skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive strains of Gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria, sepsis, typhoid and paratyphoid dysentery, and urethritis and cervicitis caused by gonococci and Chlamydia trachomatis.

【Usage and Dosage】

Intravenous drip. Adults: 0.1-0.2g at a time, twice a day, or as directed by a doctor.

【Adverse Reactions】

Poor appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, insomnia, dizziness, headache, rash, elevated serum alanine aminotransferase and local irritation symptoms after injection may occur occasionally, but they are generally tolerated and disappear after the treatment.

【Notes】

1. Patients with renal insufficiency should reduce the dosage or use with caution.

2. Use with caution in patients with nervous system diseases.

3. Avoid using it with theacid. If simultaneous use is necessary, the plasma concentration of theophylline should be monitored to adjust the dosage.

4. When used simultaneously with warfarin or its derivatives, the prothrombin time or other coagulation tests should be monitored.

5. When treating patients with sexually transmitted diseases, syphilis serological tests should be performed to avoid delaying the treatment of syphilis.

6. The intravenous drip rate should be at least 60 minutes for every 100 ml. Too fast a drip rate may easily cause venous irritation symptoms or central nervous system reactions.
