What to do if estradiol is high

What to do if estradiol is high

The increase of estradiol is mainly caused by a common estrogen in our skin in daily life. Estradiol is secreted by the ovaries of ordinary women. The treatment of increasing estradiol can avoid some side effects caused by oral administration. Estrogen in life can promote the synthesis of cell DNA and different proteins of corresponding tissues. Supplementing the deficiency of estrogen or the unilateral increase of estradiol is more critical.

There are many pharmacological aspects of estradiol in daily life. It can be treated with some pharmacological effects and pharmacological methods. The magnesium in estradiol in daily life can cause some adverse reactions and contraindications. The main diagnostic criterion for estradiol is the unilateral increase of estradiol.

1. Increased height is seen in female precocious puberty, male breast development, pregnancy (especially twins or multiple births), estrogen-secreting tumors, ovulation-inducing drugs (such as chlorpheniramine), male feminization, ovarian tumors, anovulatory uterine bleeding and cirrhosis.

2. Decrease is seen in ovarian tumors, hydatidiform mole, intrauterine fetal death, pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome, hypothalamic tumors, hypopituitarism, ovarian insufficiency, oophorectomy, delayed puberty, primary and secondary amenorrhea, menopause, oral contraceptives, etc.

3. Pathological causes of increased estradiol values 1) Ovarian diseases: Ovarian granulosa cell tumor, ovarian embryonal tumor, ovarian fat cell tumor, sex hormone-producing tumor, etc., all show ovarian hyperfunction and increased estradiol secretion. 2) Heart disease: myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, coronary artery stenosis. 3) Others: systemic lupus erythematosus, liver cirrhosis, and male obesity.

4. Pathological causes of decreased estradiol: 1) Ovarian diseases: ovarian absence or hypoplasia, primary ovarian failure, ovarian cysts. 2) Pituitary amenorrhea or infertility. 3) Others: hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, Cushing's syndrome, Addison's disease, malignant tumors, large-scale infection, renal insufficiency, focal lesions of the brain and pituitary gland, etc. can all reduce plasma estradiol.

The above is what to do if estradiol is high. The main causes of elevated estradiol are common diseases, male breast development, estrogen secretion, some ovulation-inducing drugs, male feminization, ovarian cysts, uterine sexual bleeding during ovulation, and liver cirrhosis. The pathological causes of elevated estradiol are more critical. In daily life, elevated estradiol must be treated with medication and dietary adjustments in a timely manner.
