Treatment: Amitraz emulsion - originally developed for pigs and cattle, but can also be used on cats and dogs. This medicine has an irritating and unpleasant smell and has certain side effects. Improper use may cause poisoning. Coal tar is also very cheap - using coal tar is a very effective folk remedy. You can buy a coal tar lotion called "ZeTa" in major pharmacies. This medicine is originally used to treat seborrheic dermatitis (it is more effective than any shampoo for scalp removal). Many friends have always been worried about their pets suffering from skin diseases due to mites. In fact, mites are not scary. 70% of people have mites to some extent. Mites are only a cause of disease when the skin's resistance is poor, and most people do not have any symptoms. However, dogs are particularly sensitive to mites, so they are more likely to develop skin diseases due to mites. 1. Preventive health care Chinese medicine - you can use rhubarb and gallnut lotion for external washing and soaking. The main ingredients are Cnidium monnieri, Gallnut, Kochia scoparia, and Rhubarb (very cheap, no side effects). Most veterinarians now use ivermectin or doramectin, which are similar drugs, but the latter is a newer generation. Ivermectin is injected every three days, and doramectin is injected once a week. If there is infection, antibiotics can be injected, taken orally, or applied topically. One thing to remind you is that there are still many veterinarians who use a drug called "lincomycin" when using antibiotics (because it is cheap). Lincomycin is an almost obsolete drug. It would be better to choose the new generation "clindamycin".
