The Liver Meridian is an important meridian among the twelve meridians in the human body, and more and more people have realized the many benefits of tapping the Liver Meridian to the human body. Because the liver is the largest detoxification organ in the human body, tapping the Liver Meridian helps promote the excretion of toxins. And everyone should be aware of the symptoms caused by the accumulation of toxic gases in the human body. For example, acne and dull skin are a series of phenomena caused by the accumulation of toxic gases. While tapping the liver meridian, you should also learn about the direction of the liver meridian in the human body. 1. The surface direction of the liver meridian The Liver Meridian starts at the upper part of the big toe, and runs along the upper part of the foot, then passes through the inner ankle (inner ankle), and goes up along the inner side of the lower leg and thigh to the inner side of the thigh. It then goes around the genitals, enters the lower abdomen, and goes upward in the abdomen to connect with the liver and gallbladder in the chest and flanks. The meridian continues to ascend along the throat, connecting with the eyes, then out of the forehead and reaching the top of the head. One of the branches of the Liver Meridian runs inward from the eye, down to the cheek, and circles around the inside of the lip. The other branch starts from the liver, passes through the diaphragm, flows upward to the lungs, and finally connects with the lung meridian to complete the circulation of the twelve meridians. The meridian starts from the hair of the big toe; goes up along the upper edge of the instep; one inch away from the inner ankle; eight inches above the ankle, it passes behind the Taiyin; goes up to the inner edge of the popliteal follicle; goes along the pubic region of the thigh; enters the hair; passes the genitals; reaches the lower abdomen; goes along the stomach, connects to the liver and connects to the gallbladder; goes up through the diaphragm; spreads to the ribs; goes along the back of the throat; goes up to the forehead; connects to the eye ligament; goes up to the forehead; meets the Du meridian at the top of the head; its branch goes from the eye ligament down to the inside of the cheek; goes around the inside of the lips; its branch goes from the liver again; goes through the diaphragm separately; goes up to the lungs. 2. When is the best time to nourish the liver meridian? The foot Jueyin liver meridian is strong during the Chou hour (1:00 to 3:00). If you don't sleep late during the Chou hour, you won't get spots on your face; Chinese medicine theory believes that: "The liver stores blood." "When a person lies down, blood returns to the liver." If you cannot fall asleep at Chou time, the liver will still output energy to support your thinking and actions, and it will not be able to complete metabolism. Therefore, those who cannot fall asleep before the hour of Chou will have a pale and gray complexion, be lazy and irritable, be prone to liver disease, and have a dark and spotty face. At this time, you must enter a deep sleep state to allow the liver to obtain the most sufficient energy. If you don't fall asleep during the Chou hour, the liver will still output energy to support your thinking and actions, and your metabolism will not be completed. People with excessive internal heat can fall asleep at this time to reduce their internal heat. 3. What diseases can liver meridian abnormalities cause? The so-called "liver stores blood" means that human thinking and actions need to rely on the support of liver blood. The old blood in the body needs to be eliminated and fresh blood needs to be produced. This metabolism is usually completed at the Chou time when the liver meridian is most active. "When a person lies down, the blood returns to the liver." Therefore, if a person does not fall asleep at Chou time, the liver is still outputting a large amount of energy to support human thinking and actions, and the metabolism cannot be completed. People who do not fall asleep at Chou time will not be able to cultivate their liver meridians, and they will be tired and irritable, making them prone to liver disease. The foot Jueyin liver meridian mainly connects the liver, gallbladder, lungs, stomach, kidneys, brain and other parts. If there is an abnormality in the Foot Jueyin Liver Meridian, the human body will experience symptoms such as low back pain, inability to bend forward or backward, fullness in the chest and flanks, lower abdominal pain, hernia, pain at the top of the head, dry throat, dizziness, bitter taste in the mouth, depression or irritability.
