Birth, aging, sickness and death are the laws of nature. Everyone will experience a lot from birth to death. Some people may develop serious illnesses, while others may live a healthy life. It is not only related to one's own lifestyle, but also to genetics. So when we are sick, what we need is active treatment to get better as soon as possible. Chickenpox is also a disease that we often get when we are young. Many children will develop chickenpox when they are young, and chickenpox is highly contagious. If not careful, it can be transmitted to other children. Therefore, when we find that our children have chickenpox, we must take them to the hospital as soon as possible for disinfection and medication, and they cannot go to school before the chickenpox scabs over. The child should be isolated early until all the rashes have crusted over. Children who have been in contact with chickenpox should be isolated and observed for 3 weeks. There is no specific treatment for this disease. The main treatment is symptomatic treatment to prevent secondary skin infection, keep it clean and avoid itching. Strengthen care to prevent secondary infection. Actively isolate patients to prevent infection. Isolate early until the rash is completely crusted and dry. Local treatment is mainly to relieve itching and prevent infection. Calamine lotion can be applied externally. If herpes ruptures or secondary infection occurs, 1% gentian violet or antibiotic ointment can be applied externally. Antibiotics can be used when the systemic symptoms of secondary infection are severe. Avoid using corticosteroids to prevent the spread and aggravation of chickenpox. Antiviral drug treatment should be adopted as early as possible for patients with disseminated varicella in immunocompromised patients, neonatal varicella or varicella pneumonia, encephalitis and other severe cases. Ganciclovir is currently the first choice antiviral drug for the treatment of varicella-zoster, but it is more effective if used within 24 hours of onset. Or add interferon-a to inhibit viral replication, prevent viral spread, promote skin lesion healing, accelerate disease recovery, and reduce mortality. Is chickenpox still contagious after it scabs over? This depends on individual circumstances and cannot be said with absolute certainty. Because before the virus completely disappears, if the wound is accidentally injured again, it may not have much impact on adults, but it may have a greater impact on young children. I hope all parents can pay attention to the countermeasures when their children get chickenpox. |
