Eating pine nuts regularly can relieve cough, relieve constipation and resist aging

Pine nuts, also known as maritime pine nuts and Silla pine nuts, are the seeds of the Pinus koraiensis plant of the Pinaceae family. Its kernel is called pine nut, which is one of the fried nuts that people like to eat after meals. Since ancient times, it has been praised as the "magic fruit" by Wang Mengying, a famous doctor in the Qing Dynasty.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that pine nuts are sweet and warm in nature, and have the effects of moisturizing and relieving cough, lubricating the intestines and promoting bowel movements, nourishing blood and replenishing fluids. They can treat constipation caused by dry intestines in the elderly, as well as dry coughs caused by dry mouth and no phlegm. Modern research has found that pine nuts contain a large amount of unsaturated fatty acids, with about 63 grams of fat per 100 grams, mainly unsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid and linoleic acid. Every 100 grams of pine nuts contains 234 mg of phosphorus, which has an auxiliary therapeutic effect on children with incomplete bone and tooth development and rickets.

Pine nuts are considered by traditional Chinese medicine to be an anti-aging and beauty fruit. There are many records about the anti-aging effects of pine nuts in ancient Chinese herbal books. For example, it says in "Bencao Bencao": "Sea pine nuts warm the stomach and intestines, and long-term consumption can make the body light and prolong life." "Bencao Jingshu" says: "Sea pine nuts have a fragrant, sweet and warm smell. The sweet and warm smell helps to boost yang energy and unblock the meridians. The sweet taste replenishes blood. When the blood and qi are sufficient, the five internal organs will adjust themselves. When taking immortal prescriptions, this thing is often used as an ingredient." Because the unsaturated fatty acids contained in pine nuts can lower cholesterol and triglycerides, they can effectively prevent arteriosclerosis and therefore have a good anti-aging effect. The ancients have long been aware of the anti-aging effect of pine nuts in long-term practice. The book "Lie Xian" says: "A calf who grew up in the Black Mountain eats pine nuts and poria cocos and lives for hundreds of years." The ancients also said that eating pine nuts regularly can "regenerate fallen teeth and regenerate fallen hair"; "Yuzhu Yaojie" says that pine nuts can "moisturize the skin and nourish the hair, and are also a good product." This is because pine nuts are full of oil and can nourish the blood and replenish fluids, so that the internal organs and skin can be nourished and moisturized, and the skin and hair will naturally be shiny and smooth; these practical experiences have been confirmed to be correct by modern scientific research. Pine nuts have a good therapeutic effect on bone and tooth dysplasia, promote hair growth, and are beneficial to the facial appearance of children during their growth and development.

There are no particular requirements for eating pine nuts. After frying them, eat them as snacks in the morning and evening, 20 nuts each time. Eating them regularly will produce beneficial effects. You can also add 30 grams of pine nuts, 100 grams of polished rice, and an appropriate amount of white sugar, cook it into pine nut porridge, and eat it for breakfast every day.
