Can American ginseng cure insomnia and help you sleep better?

1. Tame your stomach

3. Don’t force yourself to sleep

4. Return to nature

Chamomile, valerian, kava, passionflower, skullcap, catnip, and hops have been shown to be effective. These herbs can be added to tea or other beverages. A cup of chamomile tea before bed can help you relax. If you are willing to try valerian, the recommended dosage is an average of 2 to 3 grams per day. But don't mix it with alcohol and stimulant drugs. If kava is used, the dose should be between 60 and 120 mg, taken before bedtime.

5. Make sure your bed is only used for sleeping

Avoid working, paying bills, reading, or watching TV in bed. If you want to associate sleeping only with your bed, then what you need to do in bed is to sleep soundly, not toss and turn all night long.

6. Follow your nature

It will be easier for you to transition into sleep at night because your body knows it's time. Do anything to prepare yourself mentally for sleep. It’s also important to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day – even on the weekends.
