Implanting prosthetic testicles in the scrotum is not good for health because the consequences of infection in this area are very serious, and the intense physical activity during sex can easily affect the health of the real testicles.

TCM dialectical treatment generally divides acute orchitis into three types:

1. Acute orchitis of damp-heat type: symptoms include fever, aversion to cold, swollen and painful testicles, hard urine, red and astringent urine, dry stool, red tongue with yellow and greasy coating, and stringy and slippery pulse. The treatment is mainly focused on clearing away dampness and heat, detoxifying and eliminating carbuncle.

2. Acute orchitis of Qi stagnation and blood stasis type: Symptoms include gradual enlargement of the testicles, which become hard when touched and have mild pain. The tongue has dark edges with ecchymosis, a thin white coating, and a stringy and slippery pulse. Treatment is mainly to promote Qi and blood circulation and disperse the nodules.

3. Acute orchitis due to blood stasis: Symptoms include swelling and pain due to testicular trauma, or redness, swelling and burning sensation, blue tongue with ecchymosis, and sluggish pulse. Treatment is mainly to promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis and relieve pain.
