If a mother suffers from postpartum wind, she must adjust and treat it in time. Chinese medicine expert Shan Guimin mentioned in her blog that postpartum wind can be treated through moxibustion, scraping and other methods. Moxibustion: Moxibustion on Zhongwan, Shenque, Guanyuan, Zusanli and Sanyinjiao. Use a four-eye moxibustion box to do large-area moxibustion on Zhongwan, Shenque and Guanyuan points. The time is gradually increased from 40 minutes a day at the beginning to one hour, or even more than one hour. Mobile moxibustion can be done on the abdomen. Use a single-eye moxibustion box to moxibustion Zusanli and Sanyinjiao for 10-20 minutes. It is best to do it on both sides at the same time. This will save time and dredge the meridians in both legs at the same time, expel the cold evil, and have a better effect.

When doing moxibustion, you must have enough fire and enough time. In this way, the cold evil can be driven away completely. If you are treating in hot weather, you will sweat a lot. You can open the window for convection moxibustion. During the moxibustion period, you must drink more ginger and sugar water (boil the ginger first, then brew brown sugar water), which can replenish qi and blood.

Contraindications of scraping: 1. The abdomen, lumbar sacral area and nipples of pregnant women are not allowed to be scraped. 2. Patients with leukemia and low platelet count should be treated with caution. 3. People with heart failure, renal failure, liver cirrhosis, ascites, and severe edema of the whole body are prohibited from scraping. 4. For varicose veins in the lower limbs, scrape from bottom to top with gentle techniques. 5. This treatment is not suitable if the skin in the scraping area is ulcerated, damaged or inflamed. It is also not suitable for those who have just recovered from a serious illness, are seriously ill, have qi and blood deficiency, or are full or hungry.

Therefore, for those mothers who are breastfeeding, it is a good idea to do scraping and cupping during the period of pregnancy, because scraping can help us expand our capillaries and increase the secretion of sweat glands in the body, so that the blood will circulate well. Doing so is beneficial to our health and if any disease occurs, targeted treatment can be provided.
