TCM treatment of chronic gastritis - acupoint application

TCM treatment of chronic gastritis - acupoint application

The temperature is high during the dog days of summer, and the Yang energy is strong. According to the principle of "treating winter diseases in summer", acupoint application of aromatic and dehumidifying, warming Yang and dispersing cold drugs can easily eliminate the Yin and cold evils of the spleen and stomach, which is very beneficial for the treatment and prognosis of chronic gastritis.

Acupoint application method 1:

Select the Dazhui, Geshu, Pishu and Weishu points. Use "Winter Disease Summer Treatment and Asthma Relief Ointment". Take 21 parts of roasted white mustard seeds, 21 parts of Corydalis yanhusuo, 12 parts of Gelsemium elegans, 12 parts of Asarum, and an appropriate amount of ginger. Dry the above medicines, grind them into fine powder, pass through a 100-mesh sieve and store in a bottle for later use. When using, take an appropriate amount of ginger, wash and soak it, then crush it to extract the juice, then mix the medicinal powder with the ginger juice (the ratio of medicinal powder to ginger juice is roughly 10 grams: 10 milliliters), mix well. The ointment is 1.3 cm in diameter and about 0.3 cm thick. Take an appropriate amount of ointment and spread it on the center of 5cm x 5cm compress paper, and apply it on the Dazhui, Geshu, Pishu, and Weishu points. The application time for adults is 4-6 hours each time, and for children it should be shorter accordingly. If there is a burning sensation or pain locally, you can remove it in advance. If you feel itchy or hot sensation locally after applying the ointment, keep it on for a few more hours and remove it after it dries. The best time for application is at noon on the first day of the "first", "middle" and "last" dog days of summer each year. Apply it three times in total, and generally continue for three years.

This method has the effects of strengthening the spleen and stomach, regulating qi and relieving pain, and is used to treat chronic gastritis.

Acupoint application method 2:

Select the diaphragm, spleen, Neiguan and Zusanli points. Use "Tianjiu ointment l prescription". Take equal parts of white mustard seeds and blister beetles, grind them into a very fine powder, and mix them with 50% dimethyl sulfoxide to make an ointment. When using, take an amount of ointment the size of a grain of wheat, place it in the center of a 5 cm x 5 cm patch paper, and apply it to the diaphragm, spleen, Neiguan, and Zusanli acupoints. The application time is during the "first", "middle" and "last" of the dog days every year, at noon. Apply once every 5 days, and 3 times constitute a course of treatment. If necessary, apply 2-3 courses of treatment continuously, and the treatment can be continued for 3 years. The application time for adults is 3 hours each time, and for children it should be shortened accordingly. Generally, water will appear after the ointment is removed, and then gradually dry up and form a scab. Do not rub the blisters. If they rupture, apply gentian violet. Pay attention to local cleaning, generally there will be no infection and no scars.

This method has the effects of strengthening the spleen and stomach, removing blood stasis and relieving pain, and is used to treat chronic gastritis.

Acupoint application method 3:

Select Dazhui, Xinshu, Geshu and Neiguan points. Use "Tianjiu Gao 2 Recipe". Take white mustard seeds, kansui, ephedra, asarum, pinellia, and yanhusuo, dry them in equal amounts, grind them into fine powder, pass through a 100-mesh sieve, and store in a bottle for later use. When using, take an appropriate amount of ginger, wash and soak it, then crush it to extract the juice, then use a ginger meter to mix it with the medicinal powder (the ratio of medicinal powder and ginger juice is roughly 10 grams: 10 milliliters), mix well and make it into a paste. Take 3 grams of ointment and spread it on the center of a 5 cm x 5 cm patch paper. Apply a little musk (or borneol) on the ointment and apply it on the Dazhui, Xinshu, Geshu and Neiguan acupoints. Remove after 3-4 hours of fixation. Treatment is conducted 4 times a year, i.e., apply the patch once each at noon on the first, middle and last day of the "first, middle and last dog days", and apply the patch for the fourth time about 10 days after the "last dog days" to consolidate the therapeutic effect. 4 times a year constitutes a course of treatment, and treatment is conducted continuously for 3 years.

This method has the effects of warming the yang, unblocking the meridians, strengthening the spleen and stomach, and is used to treat chronic gastritis.

Acupoint application method 4:

Take 15 grams of white mustard seeds, 9 grams of datura, 9 grams of gansui, 9 grams of asarum, 0.3-1.5 grams of musk (or borneol), and an appropriate amount of fresh ginger. Dry the first four herbs, grind them into a very fine powder with musk (or borneol), mix well, and seal for later use. Before use, take out 1/3 of the medicinal powder, slowly add the fresh ginger juice just squeezed out (the ratio of raw medicinal powder to fresh ginger juice is approximately 10 grams: 10 milliliters), stir to make a paste, until it can be formed without falling apart, roll it into a round stick shape, and then cut into small round cakes with a diameter of 1.3 cm and a thickness of about 0.3 cm. Select the Geshu, Pishu, Neiguan and Zhongwan acupoints, perform routine disinfection, and puncture with filiform needles without leaving the needles in place. After removing the needles, place the medicine cakes on each acupoint, cover and fix with 5 cm x 5 cm patch paper, and treat (and rest at the same time) for 3-4 hours before removing them. Some patients who are allergic to the drug may feel unbearable burning pain soon after applying the patch and can remove it in advance. If blisters occur, treat it as a burn and do not use this method of treatment anymore. The best time to apply the patch is at noon on the first day of the "first", "middle" and "last" dog days each year, and it should be applied three times a year. Continue the treatment for 3 years. Redness of the local skin during the second and third application will not affect the treatment. However, if there is damage that has not yet recovered, other acupoints can be selected based on syndrome differentiation.
