Myrtle root prescription for treating diseases:

Jaundice, non-icteric hepatitis, chronic hepatitis: 60 grams of myrtle root, 30 grams of white back leaf root, 60 grams of Ardisia japonica, decocted in water, and taken with appropriate amount of white sugar or honey.

For the treatment of low back pain and chronic nephritis: 60g myrtle root, 30g acanthus, 2 pig kidneys, add appropriate amount of wine, stew in water and drink.

For ulcers that do not heal for a long time: take appropriate amount of fresh myrtle root, boil it in water and wash the affected area.

Treatment of hepatitis B: Boil 30 grams of myrtle root and 2 taels of lean meat in water and drink.

Indigestion in children: 3 to 6 grams each of myrtle root and malt. Take it in decoction, 1 dose per day.

Women with excessive menstruation: 30 grams of myrtle root and 30 grams of Eclipta prostrata. Boil in water and take with appropriate amount of white sugar.

To treat stomach pain: fry 60 grams of fresh myrtle root until brown, quench with wine, and decoct in water.

Cold diarrhea: 30 grams of myrtle root and 15 grams of Cnidium monnieri, decocted in water and taken orally.

Weak and painful feet: Use 1-2 liang of dried myrtle root and cook it with chicken feet.

A proven contraceptive recipe: half a pound of fresh myrtle roots, remove the internal organs of an old hen, stew them in water and drink (after the menstruation is over), which can prevent pregnancy for one year.
