What are the benefits of mountain pepper root

In addition to its medicinal uses, the root of mountain pepper is also used in diet. The roots, branches, leaves and fruits are used for medicinal purposes; the leaves can warm the middle and dispel cold, break up qi and resolve stagnation, dispel wind and reduce swelling; they can cure fatigue, edema, numbness and soreness of the limbs, rheumatoid arthritis, and injuries caused by falls; the fruit can cure stomachache.

1. To treat rheumatism and paralysis: 1-2 liang of mountain pepper root, a pig's foot (7 inches), 4 liang of rice wine, add appropriate amount of water and boil. Take before meals, twice a day. Fujian Folk Herbs

2. Treat rheumatism, numbness, and pain in muscles and bones: Beef tendon root, Geranium, thatch, bone and tendon grass, ground-boring wind, Imperata root, and pine grass. Take with wine soak.

3. To treat cold pain in the heart and abdomen: 1-2 liang of mountain pepper root, 2 liang of rice wine, add water as needed, boil into half a bowl, and take before meals.

4. Rheumatic paralysis. Prescription: 50 grams of mountain pepper root, 1 pig's foot, and 120 ml of rice wine. Usage: Add appropriate amount of water, stew until soft, and take in 2 doses before meals.

5. Wind-heat cold. Prescription: 30 grams of young leaves of Piper melongena, 25 grams of Serissa serrulata, and 30 grams of Isatis indigotica. Usage: Decoction in water and take in 2 doses.
