Drinking these two kinds of wine at the same time can actually induce liver cancer

In daily life, it is common for relatives and friends to have a small gathering every three to five days, and a big gathering every ten days or half a month. With parties one after another, of course, a few drinks are indispensable to liven up the atmosphere. It is often encountered that people are not satisfied after drinking white wine, and continue to order beer, which is the so-called "mixed wine". People who do not have common sense in this area certainly do not know what health risks will occur when drinking white wine and beer together. Recently, a large number of studies have shown that alcohol is closely related to liver pain, and the chance of developing liver cancer from drinking mixed drinks is 6-10 times that of drinking a single drink or not drinking at all. So, what are the bad reasons for drinking liquor and beer together?

Can beer and liquor be mixed?

Beer and liquor should not be mixed, mainly because liquor and beer are of different natures. Liquor is a distilled liquor, and beer is a fermented liquor, so the ingredients of the two liquors are different. The main ingredient of liquor is ethanol, while the ingredients in beer are more complex, including carbon dioxide, peptides and amino acids, inorganic salts, vitamins, and antioxidants such as polyphenols, some of which can promote the absorption of ethanol.

In addition, since beer contains carbon dioxide and a lot of water, it can promote the high concentration of alcohol in liquor to penetrate throughout the body, making it more likely to cause damage to the brain, liver, kidneys, and stomach. The final degree of discomfort is significantly greater than the feeling of drunkenness from drinking only one type of alcohol, making the feeling of drunkenness come earlier, causing dizziness, nausea, vomiting, etc., and even causing other symptoms of poisoning. Therefore, beer and liquor should not be consumed at the same time.

The harm of mixing liquor and beer to the body

1. Getting drunk more easily

If you drink beer alone, the alcohol concentration of beer is actually very low. It is not easy to get drunk after drinking one or two bottles, but you will feel bloated. Therefore, most people will not get drunk after drinking beer. Moreover, beer is a fermented wine. Its main ingredients are water, carbon dioxide, amino acids, vitamins, polyphenols, antioxidants and other substances. A moderate amount is good for the body, but it also has the function of promoting the absorption of ethanol. If you drink white wine at the same time, white wine is a distilled wine, most of its ingredients are ethanol. Ethanol is absorbed relatively slowly, so white wine has a strong aftertaste, but some of the ethanol may be decomposed during the absorption process, thereby reducing the feeling of drunkenness. However, because beer has the function of promoting the absorption of ethanol, a large amount of ethanol in the white wine is absorbed in advance and has not had time to be decomposed. As a result, all the aftertaste rushes up in advance, which can immediately cause drunkenness or even alcohol poisoning, which is more fierce than drinking any other kind of wine alone.

2. More likely to hurt the stomach

Once ethanol is absorbed by the human body, the stomach cannot withstand so much ethanol and will resist, causing acid reflux, and eventually leading to vomiting, dizziness, nausea and other discomforts. You can imagine how much damage this will cause to the stomach. In severe cases, such mixing may cause gastritis after a single mixing. If things go on like this for a long time, it may even cause serious diseases such as gastric ulcers and gastric bleeding. In addition, alcohol can affect the nervous system, leading to complications such as slow movements and slow brain reactions.

3. Susceptibility to liver cancer

Studies have shown that people who drink frequently have a much higher risk of liver cancer than ordinary people, especially those who mix beer and liquor. The large amount of water and carbon dioxide in beer will accelerate the penetration of the liquor into the body and accelerate its absorption, causing serious damage and irritation to the liver, kidneys, stomach and other organs, and may even induce cardiovascular disease, greatly increasing the probability of liver cancer.
