Causes of recurrent herpes outbreaks

Causes of recurrent herpes outbreaks

There are many types of herpes, which are common in people of all ages and can occur in any part of the body. In the past, when medicine was not very developed, people could not completely prevent herpes and could only reduce the chance of developing the disease through careful daily care. However, since herpes has the characteristic of recurring, it is generally recommended that people who have had herpes should pay special attention to staying away from viral infections and other inducing factors in their daily lives.

Chickenpox is caused by the herpes zoster virus. Children with low immunity to this virus develop chickenpox after being infected. After being infected, some patients become carriers of the virus without developing symptoms, and the virus remains latent until it becomes active again when the body's resistance decreases.

Viral infection, the direct cause of the disease is the infection of herpes zoster virus. The virus enters the human body through the nasal mucosa and invades the mapping of the sensory nervous system. It can enter the cortex along the facial nerve and reproduce in the nerve mapping.

The triggering factors are that when the body is injured, damaged by drugs or other infections, the latent virus begins to take action, causing hemorrhagic inflammation of the posterior root nerve nodule on one side, and descending neuritis, causing blisters on the skin of the surrounding nerve separation area. Due to the low resistance of the patient, the virus in the blisters spreads and causes widespread herpes.

Shingles and chickenpox are caused by the same virus. The primary infection manifests as chickenpox, and the virus may then enter the root ganglia behind the spinal cord or the sensory ganglia of the cranial nerves and remain dormant. However, the latent virus may no longer cause symptoms or may be reactivated several years later to cause shingles.

In addition, when the immune system is weakened due to certain other diseases or when immunosuppressive products are used, the virus may recur.

At the same time, the recurrence of shingles is also related to diet, so you should eat light food in your life and eat less spicy and irritating food.
