Menstrual cycle

Normal menstruation is cyclical. The first day of bleeding is the beginning of the menstrual cycle, and the interval between the first days of two menstrual periods is called a menstrual cycle. It usually lasts 21-35 days, with an average of 28 days. The duration of each menstrual period is called a menstrual period, which usually lasts 2-8 days, with an average of 3-5 days. Menstrual volume refers to the total amount of blood lost during one menstrual period. Normal menstrual volume is 30-50ml, and more than 80ml is considered menorrhagia.

Leucorrhea

Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, white and thin paste or egg white-like, highly viscous, without fishy smell or with a slight fishy smell or no smell; in small amount, with no adverse effects on women's health. The amount and texture of its secretion are affected by the levels of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and vary cyclically with the menstrual cycle, with varying amounts, textures and consistency.

Causes of Menstrual Disorders

1. Irregular diet, skipping breakfast, or eating at night. Damage to temper.

2. Multiple miscarriages damage the kidneys, and multiple births and multiple fertility consume essence and blood; excessive and frequent sexual intercourse damages kidney yang or kidney yin.

3. Overwork and excessive thinking will damage your temper.

4. Excessive consumption of spicy and irritating foods will produce excessive heat which may cause early menstruation or heavy menstrual flow. Overeating fatty and greasy foods can also cause changes in the menstrual cycle.

5. During the menstrual period and after childbirth, if you go out in the rain, go to the fields barefoot or wade through water, live in a humid environment, fail to change wet clothes in time due to sweating, eat raw or even cold food, or use an electric fan for a long time, or stay in an air-conditioned room for too long, it will cause cold evil to rise to the body, leading to dysmenorrhea, delayed menstruation, or a small amount of menstruation, or prolonged menstruation.
