People with spleen deficiency are more prone to insomnia

Sleep is not a psychological problem, but a physical problem. People with weak spleen are more likely to suffer from insomnia. Because only when the spleen and stomach function normally and nutrition has its source can the spirit be nourished and sleep soundly. Otherwise, insomnia may recur. People with spleen deficiency are characterized by irregular or uncontrolled diet, thin body, low blood pressure, yellowish complexion, easy sweating, and often inexplicable symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, dizziness, etc. In addition, the muscle content of this type of people is relatively low. Men are thin and small or thin and tall, similar to the body shape of women. This physical symptom is called "spleen deficiency appearance" by doctors.

People with spleen deficiency may not necessarily suffer from insomnia when they are young, but when they reach a certain age, for example, due to an unhappy marriage, children failing exams or admissions, fierce competition at work, or emotional disturbances due to various reasons, they may suffer from sleep disorders after staying up all night. Some people find it harder to sleep the more they exercise, and some find it harder to sleep the more they run. It is now popular to run at night or walk 10,000 steps at night. Some people with spleen deficiency will find it even more difficult to sleep after walking 10,000 steps. In fact, people with weak spleen should not exercise excessively. Excessive consumption will cause the body to be in a state of stress, which is in a sense harmful to our body. Therefore, people with spleen deficiency can only do appropriate exercise, mainly mild fatigue, and do some aerobic exercises, such as Tai Chi, Qigong, plank support, Five Animal Exercises, yoga, etc., which are better.

No midnight snacks

People with spleen deficiency have strict requirements on eating. They should not eat too much or be too full. They need to eat small meals frequently but not excessively. It is recommended to eat more local Guangdong food and use less heavy-tasting condiments such as chili and pepper. In addition, eat three meals on time, do not eat midnight snacks, and do not eat too many fried or greasy foods that are easy to cause inflammation. Such eating habits have a great impact on their sleep.

Don’t take supplements easily

Do not take supplements easily. Supplements such as bird's nest, cordyceps, red ginseng, ginseng, etc. must be taken under the guidance of a doctor. Because some patients have internal heat, the more they eat these things, the more they fall asleep.
