Four month fetus shape

Going to the hospital to check the size of the fetus can also effectively reflect the growth of the fetus in the mother's belly. At the same time, when the fetus grows in the mother's womb, the size is different at each stage. If pregnant mothers want to know the health level of the baby in their belly, they can determine it by measuring the body size. So when the mother is 4 months pregnant, how big is the fetus?

By the 15th week of pregnancy, the fetus is about 16 cm long and weighs about 120 g. The fetal skin becomes redder and thicker, which helps protect the fetus's internal organs. Fine hair called vellus hair grows on the face. In addition, the fetus' arms and legs can move slightly. This is because the bones and muscles are well developed and strong. However, the mother cannot feel the movement of the fetus yet.

Also, the heart beats more actively and the internal organs are almost formed. The placenta is also formed, and the connection with the mother is closer, which greatly reduces the possibility of miscarriage. As the placenta grows, the mother's supply of nutrition to the fetus improves, and the fetus's growth rate accelerates. The fetal membrane becomes firm and the amount of amniotic fluid begins to increase rapidly from this period.

There are many things to pay attention to during pregnancy. The following are some dietary precautions in late pregnancy:

1. Appropriately increase bean protein, such as tofu and soy milk;

2. Eat more seafood, such as kelp and seaweed; animal offal and nuts are also good foods;

3. Pay attention to controlling the intake of salt and water to avoid edema, which may cause pregnancy poisoning;

4. Pregnant women are advised to choose small foods with high nutritional value, such as animal foods; reduce foods with low nutritional value and large size, such as potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc.;

5. For some high-energy foods, such as white sugar, honey and other sweets, it is advisable to eat less to prevent a decrease in appetite and affect the intake of other nutrients.

6. For pregnant women with edema, the daily salt intake should be limited to less than 5 grams.
