Common warning signs of brain tumors

1. Headache, nausea, and vomiting

Vomiting: Projectile vomiting, unrelated to eating (children beware!) - stimulation of the medullary vomiting center

Excludes "hemiplegia" caused by stroke, weakness or paralysis of one side or a single limb, and paresthesia

Motor or sensory aphasia, alexia, agraphia, etc. Hearing clearly but unable to speak - this is the most common symptom of motor aphasia

Slow reaction, especially recent memory loss, irritability or indifference, etc.

Experts tell you

● Brain tumors refer to tumors that occur in the cranial cavity. Common tumors include more than 20 types such as glioma, meningioma, pituitary tumor, and cranial neurothecoma.

● Brain tumors can be congenital, such as craniopharyngioma, and acquired, such as glioma. The occurrence of brain tumors may be related to family heredity, physical factors (such as radiation exposure), chemical factors (such as certain carcinogens), biological factors (such as certain viral infections), etc., and the specific cause is unclear.

● Common brain tumors are not contagious and generally cannot be spread from person to person.

● Compared with other malignant tumors such as lung cancer, the incidence of brain tumors is not the highest, but the mortality and disability rates are high!

● Common brain tumors may have some early symptoms. We should pay attention to these early signals and be vigilant about brain tumors. If you experience symptoms that may be related to a brain tumor, be sure to seek medical attention immediately!
