Hemorrhoids are a disease that many people suffer from. Hemorrhoids have a great impact on human life, especially on people's physiological excretion. There are two types of hemorrhoids, external hemorrhoids and internal hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are a more serious type of hemorrhoids and can be treated with medication and surgery.

1. Drug treatment

1: Kuzhisan therapy: Introduction: Apply Kuzhisan to the surface of hemorrhoids to make them necrotize, dry up and fall off, and the wound heal itself. Applicable symptoms: second and third stage prolapsed internal hemorrhoids, internal hemorrhoids with mild anemia, strangulated internal hemorrhoids, etc. Healing time: short, usually 8 to 10 days. Complications: heavy bleeding, greater pain for the patient, recurrence rate: high, up to about 20%.

2: Oral Chinese medicine: Introduction: Use Chinese medicine for oral administration that can replenish qi, consolidate the body, stop bleeding, and astringe the intestines to resolve hemorrhoids, so as to reduce or stop bleeding, shrink hemorrhoids, reduce prolapse, and reduce or eliminate symptoms. Applicable population: any patient.

3: External medication: Introduction: One is to use traditional Chinese medicine that can clear away heat, detoxify, consolidate the intestines, and boil it into a decoction for external washing, such as Sophora flavescens decoction. Can be used for a variety of patients. The second method is to use Chinese medicine or a mixture of Chinese and Western medicine that is easily absorbed by the skin, make it into ointments or medicated plasters, and stick it on the Changqiang acupoints on the navel or sacrum for treatment. Medicines: Mayinglong Musk Hemorrhoid Ointment, Antai Patch, and Hemorrhoid Suppository. Applicable symptoms: mild internal hemorrhoids with occasional pain and bleeding symptoms. Effectiveness: Suppositories generally last for 12 hours. Disadvantages: long course of treatment, great pain, and because the concentration of the drug is difficult to control, it often causes hemorrhoids and the surrounding skin to become wet and rotten. Note: Do not eat spicy food within 3 months of taking the medicine. You can take some heat-clearing drinks, such as chrysanthemum and wolfberry, or drink some herbal tea.

2. Surgical treatment

1: Rubber band ligation: The principle of rubber band ligation is to use an instrument to insert a small rubber band into the root of the internal hemorrhoids, causing the hemorrhoids to become ischemic, necrotic and fall off, resulting in significant treatment effects. This treatment can be painless with little infection and bleeding if the case is selected appropriately and the ligation method is correct. However, the recurrence rate is higher than surgical resection.

2: Cryotherapy: Cryotherapy uses a special probe to contact the hemorrhoids, causing the hemorrhoidal tissue to freeze, necrotize, and fall off, and the wound will gradually heal. If the freezing depth and range can be correctly controlled, the therapeutic effect will be good. However, the postoperative pain lasts for a long time, the wound heals slowly, and the recurrence rate is high.

3: Drug treatment: For internal hemorrhoids, many doctors like to use drug treatment, falsely claiming that there is no pain and the treatment is thorough. In fact, drug treatment is nothing more than some analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs and has a strong corrosive effect. Not only does it have no therapeutic effect on internal hemorrhoids, but long-term use can also easily cause a series of complications.

4: Ligation method: Use medicated thread, thick silk thread, or rubber band to ligate the root of hemorrhoids to block the blood supply to the hemorrhoids, causing them to become ischemic, dry, necrotic, and fall off, thereby achieving the purpose of healing. The commonly used methods include through-ligation and rubber band ligation.

Three: Hemorrhoids include two types.

One is internal hemorrhoids, the other is external hemorrhoids. External hemorrhoids are relatively easy to treat, while internal hemorrhoids are more serious and can easily cause blood in the stool.
