Symptoms of fallopian tube tumors

(IV) Lower abdominal mass: During gynecological examination, thickening or mass of the fallopian tube on one or both sides can often be felt. The texture is solid and cystic, sausage-like or irregular in shape, tender to the touch, and movement is often limited. The lump shrank after drainage. The fluid accumulates and then increases in size.

What causes fallopian tube tumors?

1. Reproduction: The occurrence of some gynecological tumors is related to reproduction, and their onset is related to reproductive factors such as premature delivery, frequent births, and multiple births.

2. Endocrine: Some women now take estrogen-containing drugs, supplements and some beauty products without the guidance of a doctor, which unknowingly increases the estrogen level in the body. Long-term high-level estrogen stimulation is one of the causes of fallopian tube cancer.

What harm does fallopian tube tumor do to women?

1. Fallopian tube funnel: The fallopian tube funnel is the end of the fallopian tube. It is enlarged and funnel-shaped. There is the abdominal opening of the fallopian tube in the center of the funnel. The inner surface of the fallopian tube umbrella is covered with mucosa. The longest protrusion among them is called the ovarian umbrella, which is connected to the surface of the ovary.

2. Ampulla of the fallopian tube: The ampulla of the fallopian tube continues at the outer end of the isthmus of the fallopian tube. It is the longest and thickest section of the fallopian tube. 3. Isthmus of the fallopian tube: The isthmus of the fallopian tube extends horizontally outward from the outer corner of the uterus to the section near the lower end of the ovary, accounting for about 1/3 of the total length of the fallopian tube. It is connected to the uterine part of the fallopian tube internally and the ampulla of the fallopian tube externally. This part is short, thin and straight, with thick walls and narrow cavity. Salpingitis can easily cause blockage of the isthmus and lead to infertility or ectopic pregnancy, which is a serious harm of fallopian tube tumors.

Metastatic pathways of fallopian tube tumors

The metastasis of malignant tumors is mainly through lymphatic vessels, blood vessels and body cavities. Blood vessels mainly pass through veins and rarely through arteries first.

1. Lymphatic metastasis: Lymphatic metastasis mostly follows the pattern of lymphatic trunks, namely the left and right head and neck trunks, the left and right subclavian trunks, the left and right bronchomediastinal trunks, the left and right lumbar trunks and the intestinal trunks.

2. Hematogenous metastasis: Hematogenous metastasis is mainly classified into systemic vein type, pulmonary vein type, portal vein type, pyramidal vein type and countercurrent type.

3. Implantation and metastasis: Tumor cells diffusely grow in cavities, such as the thoracic cavity, abdominal cavity, pericardial cavity, etc. Surgery and puncture procedures can also cause implant metastasis.
