Crawling on the ground to treat lumbar disc herniation

Crawling on the ground to treat lumbar disc herniation

Speaking of the disease of lumbar disc herniation, many people should have a deep understanding of it, because most people have lumbar disc herniation, and in modern society there are many ways to treat lumbar disc herniation. Everyone can choose a treatment method according to their own needs. One method is to crawl on the ground to treat lumbar disc herniation. But can crawling on the ground really treat lumbar disc herniation?

As more and more patients suffer from lumbar disc herniation, more and more people are paying attention to its treatment and exercise. However, proper exercise can help in the treatment and recovery of lumbar disc herniation. So, how should patients with lumbar disc herniation exercise? Here, experts introduce several exercise methods:

(1) Abdominal lifting therapy

Doing abdominal exercises dozens of times a day can, on the one hand, strengthen the waist and back muscles, and on the other hand, rotate and stretch the intervertebral space, fiber ring, and intervertebral ligaments, generating peripheral pressure, making it easier for protrusions to retract, and allowing the vertebral joints to return to their anatomical state and achieve an adaptive state.

(ii) Rub your waist backwards

Place both hands on the psoas major muscle on the same side, and rub them from top to bottom and then from bottom to top repeatedly 10 to 15 times until you feel warmth on both sides of the waist.

(III) Flying Swallow Exercise

Lie prone on the bed, and lift your lower limbs alternately, lift your lower limbs at the same time, stretch and lift your upper body backwards, and lift both sides of your body off the bed at the same time. Do each of the above movements more than ten times, and exercise for 30 minutes every day.

(IV) Crawling Exercise

The limbs are in a crawling posture, with the waist convex and concave, turning sideways and touching the left (right) foot with the left (right) hand, raising hands and turning around, and finally putting both hands on the ground, crawling like a reptile, and persist for 30 minutes every day.

(V) Backwards walking exercise

Walk backwards in the corridor or open space for about 30 minutes each time. This exercise is beneficial to improve the condition of the waist and back muscles, restore the physiological arch of the lumbar spine and the sliding of the facet joints of the waist, and help relieve facet joint adhesions.

(6) Group Exercise

Lie on your back on the bed, and do hip flexion, knee flexion, sit-ups, or sit-ups followed by hugging your knees to your chest for more than ten times each. This exercise can be performed alternately with the flying swallow pose every other day.

Warm reminder: When we have physical problems, the first treatment we think of is drug therapy. This is normal, but sometimes drug therapy is ineffective and we have to undergo other treatments. The same is true for lumbar spondylosis. Now let us understand the treatment methods of lumbar spondylosis and choose the treatment method that suits us according to our condition.
