What are the early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids? How to prevent internal hemorrhoids?

The early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are not obvious and can only be discovered during a physical examination. The early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids include slightly painful blood in the stool, intermittent blood in the stool, bright red blood in the stool, or blood on the stool paper, or bleeding in the form of drops or spurts. So what are the early symptoms?

Early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids:

1. Itching: Due to the stimulation of secretions or prolapsed hemorrhoids, the area around the anus becomes damp and unclean, causing eczema and itching.

2. Blood in stool: It is characterized by slight pain and intermittent bright red blood after defecation. It is also a common symptom of mixed hemorrhoids and internal hemorrhoids in the early stage. Sometimes there is a small amount of blood on the surface of the stool, and sometimes it is dripping blood or spurting blood.

3. Pain: The early symptoms of simple internal hemorrhoids are generally painless, and sometimes only a feeling of heaviness in the anus or difficulty in defecation. If the hemorrhoids are inflamed and swollen, or there is blood clot formation or incarceration inside the hemorrhoids, there will be pain.

4. Internal hemorrhoid attack: The early symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are usually mild and slightly painful. They will be aggravated if there is constipation or diarrhea, which is called internal hemorrhoid attack. When internal hemorrhoids occur, the hemorrhoids suddenly swell, protrude, burn, and hurt, and feel throbbing and like a foreign object.

5. Mucus outflow: The rectal mucosa is stimulated by hemorrhoids for a long time, causing increased secretions. In the late stage of internal hemorrhoids, secretions often flow out of the anus due to relaxation of the anal sphincter.

6. Prolapse: As the volume of hemorrhoids increases, they are squeezed by feces during defecation, causing them to gradually separate from the muscle layer and prolapse out of the anus. Sometimes 1-2 hemorrhoids prolapse at the same time, and sometimes all hemorrhoids and rectal mucosa prolapse together.

How to prevent internal hemorrhoids?

1. Diet adjustment: Due to unreasonable diet, excessive drinking and eating spicy food, rheumatism, dryness and heat are generated internally, and qi and blood are not regulated, resulting in meridian blockage, blood stasis and turbid qi flowing into the anus and forming internal hemorrhoids. Please tell me that for hemorrhoid care, you should avoid spicy and irritating foods, such as drinking, eating pepper, chili, raw onions, and raw garlic. You should eat a light diet, eat more fruits and vegetables, and fiber-rich foods such as radish, black fungus, and fried potatoes with leeks.

2. The bowel movement time should not be too long: Internal hemorrhoids are related to bowel movement habits. Irregular bowel movements and staying in the toilet for too long can induce hemorrhoids. Some people like to read books or newspapers, smoke, and squat in the toilet for too long while using the toilet; others have habitual constipation and have difficulty defecating. Frequent constipation and holding the breath too hard during defecation can block venous return and cause internal hemorrhoids. Correct bad defecation habits.

3. Combine work and rest: Sitting or standing for long periods of time can cause varicose, tortuous, and proliferative veins in the anorectal area, leading to the formation of hemorrhoids. Avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time, and do appropriate exercise. You should learn to combine work and rest and do more exercise to promote blood circulation in the anorectal area.
