How to regulate liver depression and spleen deficiency

1. Methods for eliminating liver depression

Often massage the Taichong to Xingjian points of the Liver Meridian. For people with too much fat on the thighs, it is best to use the thumb to push from the base of the liver meridian to the Ququan point in the knee pit 100 times. This is usually a very painful meridian. Tap the Dai Mai 300 times a day, tap the Gallbladder Meridian on the outside of the thigh with the fist or knuckles for 3 minutes, move Yanglingquan for one minute, and rub the "Di Jin" for 3 minutes. In this way, the problem of liver stagnation will be solved quickly. Liver depression is also the main cause of many gynecological diseases such as breast hyperplasia, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and dysmenorrhea, chloasma, migraine and other symptoms are also closely related to liver depression. If weight loss can also prevent gynecological diseases, it will be more meaningful in the long run. Tapping the Dai Meridian is good at eliminating "swimming rings" (fat around the waist), and tapping the Gallbladder Meridian is easy to reduce fat on the buttocks and thighs. These two methods are actually one method, both of which are aimed at dredging the Gallbladder Meridian, because the "Dai Meridian" is also a section of the Gallbladder Meridian in the abdomen. If these two methods have been used for a period of time without any obvious effect (there should be an increase in bowel movements or a slight decrease in appetite), then we will use the second method and start with strengthening the spleen meridian.

2. Methods for eliminating spleen deficiency

Spleen deficiency has the greatest impact on the digestive function of the stomach and intestines. The stomach will feel bloated after meals, and the water will stay in the stomach without moving. The stool is always unable to move downward. Such people have fat on their bodies that is as soft as a ball of cotton, their legs feel heavy and they are unwilling to take a step, and they always want to sleep even in broad daylight. Spleen deficiency can be supplemented with food, and the best food is yam, coix seed and Euryale ferox porridge. If you have a cold stomach, you can remove the coix seed; if you have a hot stomach, you can remove the water chestnut and yam and replace them with mung beans. Mung bean and coix seed porridge is the best for removing dampness and heat. It is most suitable for people with hyperactive liver and weak spleen, and those with yellow and greasy tongue coating. If you have a cold stomach, fear of cold and a weak spleen, Fuzi Lizhong Pills should be your first choice. This medicine can dispel cold and dampness and nourish the stomach, strengthen the middle Qi and invigorate the spleen. If you feel full and bloated soon after eating a small amount, it means your heart is weak and there is insufficient Qi and blood supplied to the stomach for digestion. At this time, nourishing the heart means strengthening the spleen, and Baizi Yangxin Pills are the best for this task. This medicine nourishes the heart and liver, calms the nerves and promotes bowel movements. It is most appropriate for people who are always restless, short of breath, weak, and have difficulty defecating.

Eat more small dates on an empty stomach every day, which can not only replenish blood and strengthen the spleen, but also invigorate qi and promote bowel movements. Large dates are strong in replenishing blood, while small dates are strong in activating blood circulation. Small dates are better in summer. Some people say that after drinking yam, coix seed and water chestnut porridge, they feel bloated and think that they are too weak to be nourished. In fact, it is because there is too much turbid air in their stomach and they are unable to expel it under normal circumstances. This porridge replenishes qi the fastest. The birth of clear air will inevitably drive out turbid air. The two airs will compete with each other and it is difficult for them to be expelled for a while, so you will feel fullness and bloating in the abdomen. At this time, drink a bowl of white radish soup. If you have a severe cold stomach, you can add some pepper powder. The bloating will naturally disappear with farts, and your stomach will feel comfortable immediately. At this time, if you drink yam, coix seed and water chestnut porridge, you will feel that it goes down smoothly. In addition, it is not difficult to strengthen the spleen by frequently massaging the spleen meridian in the calf and focusing on stimulating the Gongsun acupoint, combined with taking porridge and medicine internally.
