Will the blood clots go away automatically?

When you accidentally get hurt by collision, impact, squeezing, etc., it will cause congestion in the subcutaneous tissue. Generally speaking, as long as the area is not particularly large, it will be automatically eliminated through certain conditioning, because the human body has the ability to automatically absorb and clean up. Some minor bruises are not a big deal and do not require intervention treatment. All you need is a little patience. However, if the area is larger and the harm is more serious, you must receive regular treatment in time.

Will the blood clots go away automatically?

The human body has a certain degree of self-absorption and self-cleaning capabilities. For minor bruises, there is no need for intervention treatment. The body's own bruising ability can completely remove the bruises. It just takes a few days, so just be patient. Of course, if you are worried, you can also do some blood stasis removal work.

How to eliminate blood stasis

Some more serious bruises may be caused by broken bones during collision or impact. Although they may not be fractured, they may be cracked. Therefore, it is best to go to the hospital for an X-ray examination and never treat them as mere flesh injuries.

Cold compress and hot compress are widely used methods to remove blood stasis. The effects vary from person to person, and the speed of removing blood stasis is not very fast. Within 24 hours after the injury, it is best to apply cold compress immediately, using an ice pack (ice cubes) or an ice water towel to apply to the injured area for about 30 minutes. Do not apply cold compresses to an injury for more than 24 hours, as this will do more harm than good.

After the cold compress, hot compress should be applied. Hot compress needs to be done every day, preferably once in the morning, noon and evening, and continue until the bruises disappear. There are many ways to apply hot compress. You can use hot water to soak a towel, hot eggs, hot sand in a cloth bag, hot coarse salt in a cloth bag, etc., and apply these hot materials to the most painful and bruised areas.

Rubbing pepper wine is an effective and fast method to remove blood stasis. Pick some fresh peppercorns or buy some Sichuan peppercorns from a Chinese medicine store, and then buy some white wine with an alcohol content of about 60%. Put the peppercorns into a glass bottle with a sealed lid, and then pour the white wine into the bottle (just enough to cover the peppercorns, and add more white wine for dry peppercorns), then cover the lid and put the glass bottle in a pot of hot water for a water bath for more than an hour. Apply the hot medicinal wine to the dark bruises every morning, noon and evening. It will quickly remove the bruises and also heal injuries and relieve pain.

Fire therapy is also a good way to remove blood stasis and relieve pain, and it is very effective. Find a bottle of disinfectant alcohol, dip a cotton ball in alcohol (it is better not to drop alcohol), clamp it with tweezers, light it and roll it back and forth on the bruise, dip it in alcohol again after the fire is out, and repeat the operation for 15 to 30 minutes, every morning, noon and evening; you can also apply a wet towel to the bruise, then drop a few drops of alcohol on the bruise, then light it on fire, and continue to drop alcohol and repeat the operation after the fire is out, and repeat the fire therapy for 15 to 30 minutes.

The high temperature part of the alcohol flame is concentrated in the outer flame, so as long as the outer flame does not burn the human body, there will be no problem. It is best for the operator to be in good spirits and not be the type who panics.

Bloodletting is also a quick way to remove blood stasis. Use a sterilized glass piece or other tool to puncture the bruise and squeeze out the blood, or use a cupping jar to draw it out. Bloodletting tools must be disinfected to avoid secondary damage caused by bacterial infection.
