Do you know what stomach cold is?

There is an inevitable connection between stomach cold and stomach pain, and people with stomach cold often suffer from stomach pain. How does stomach cold form? It has something to do with weather, eating habits, and seasons. You can eat some stomach-warming foods to relieve stomach cold.

1. Cold food

"Cold" has two meanings. The first refers to temperature - just like boiling cold water into hot water requires gas energy. The human body has temperature. The cold food you drink must be heated first, which will consume the original heat energy of the spleen and stomach and cause stomach coldness, such as frozen foods, cold drinks, and cool fruits.

The second refers to its nature - if it is cool in nature, even if you eat or drink hot food, it will still have a cooling effect. For example, bitter melon, winter melon, and mung beans.

2. External cold

The cold that enters the body through food and drink is considered internal cold, while using air conditioning in the summer, catching a cold in the winter, doing farm work as a fisherman, or using cold water while washing clothes at home are all considered external cold. Some external cold directly invades the spleen and stomach and causes stomach cold, while more of it consumes overall energy, and the energy, heat and yang of the corresponding local spleen and stomach are insufficient, causing cold.

3. Seasonal factors

The hotter the weather, the cooler the groundwater well water; the cooler the weather, the hotter the groundwater well water. In fact, it is the result of the conversion of the position of energy and heat: radiating from the inside to the outside in spring and summer, and converging from the outside to the inside in autumn and winter. Correspondingly, in summer, the skin on the outside is hot, but the spleen and stomach inside are very cold. Therefore, appetite is the worst and the stomach is the coldest in summer. It is most likely to cause inflammation.

4. Desire Factor

Wanting to see, hear, speak, think, eat, love, hate, etc., these are all desires, which refers to the use of human body functions. All of these require energy consumption. The human body is very intelligent. When there is a need for more energy in a certain area (due to desire), it will call upon energy from other functional areas to supplement it, which will correspondingly cause insufficient function of the called area. For example, many people in life tend to feel sleepy after eating. This is because the energy is concentrated in the spleen and stomach for digestion and absorption, which calls on the energy of the brain. Insufficient energy in the brain causes drowsiness - the thinking function is insufficient. Same reason. When the brain is used too much, it will also call upon the energy of the spleen and stomach to move upward, resulting in insufficient energy for the spleen and stomach. Digestion and absorption will be impaired, stomach cold will form, and stomach problems will occur.
