What to do if the skin itches and pimples appear when scratched

If the skin is itchy and bumps appear immediately when you scratch it, it is generally suspected to be urticaria. This skin disease is quite common in life. About 20% of people may develop urticaria. After getting the disease, you must first find out the cause and then cooperate with the doctor to eliminate the cause.

1Acute urticaria develops rapidly. It is localized and consists of wheals of varying sizes. Generally, it will disappear automatically after half an hour or a few hours, and then it will occur again and again, and it can happen several times a day. Especially itchy. If you scratch it, it will swell up. The swelling will gradually go away if you don't scratch it.

2Chronic urticaria means recurring attacks, sometimes more and sometimes less. It's been like this all year round, sometimes more, sometimes less, there's no regular pattern. Usually, the cause of the disease cannot be found. Also, some people's skin is more sensitive to the surrounding environment, such as certain things. When you touch it, small bumps will appear and it will itch, but they will gradually go away.

3For example, food. Fish, shrimp and eggs are the most common. Sometimes certain spices and condiments may cause urticaria, and pollen and insect bites can also cause urticaria. There are also urticaria caused by physical factors, such as: cold and hot, sunlight exposure, excessive stress, etc.

Note:

Remember not to scratch it, do not apply hot compresses, do not take hot baths, and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits. Try not to eat fried and spicy foods, or foods that easily cause heat in the body. It will get worse if it gets hot.
