The treatment of tinea corporis is still mainly based on drug therapy. In traditional Chinese medicine, tinea corporis is believed to be caused by damp heat and toxic gases invading the skin. During treatment, it is also necessary to clear away heat and dampness. Some Chinese medicine treatments can be chosen to fundamentally inhibit the growth of fungi. 1. Treatment Treatment is mainly based on topical medications. Patients with diabetes and tinea corporis must control their blood sugar at the same time. The number of topical medications applied each day can be appropriately increased. Patients with other diseases and those who use corticosteroids for a long time should make a comprehensive consideration. 1. Local treatment: (1) Acid drugs, such as salicylic acid, benzoic acid, undecylenic acid and 3% peracetic acid, should be used with caution on thin and tender skin. (2) Antifungal drugs, such as 1% to 3% clotrimazole, 1% econazole, 2% miconazole cream, 1% to 2% ketoconazole cream, 1% bifonazole cream, 0.5% amorolfine cream and 1% terbinafine cream. You can also use 5% to 10% sulfur emulsion, 1 to 2 times a day. If you persist in the treatment for 2 to 4 weeks, you can be cured. These drugs have less irritating effects. 2. Systemic treatment: Generalized tinea corporis can be treated with systemic treatment, such as terbinafine 250 mg/d orally for 2 weeks; fluconazole 150 mg orally once a week for 3 weeks; itraconazole 100 mg/d orally for 15 days, or 200 mg/d for 7 days. 3. Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine: Soak 30g of Radix Sophorae Fructus, 30g of Radix Stemonae, 15g of Fructus Cnidium in 240ml of 50% alcohol for 3 days, or 60g of Rheum officinale (Rheum officinale) in 240ml of 50% alcohol for 3 days, filter the liquid and apply externally, 1 to 2 times a day. (II) Prognosis Tinea corporis caused by Microsporum canis and Microsporum gypseum is more common on the face, neck and upper limbs, and is often complicated by tinea capitis. The infection may be caused by the patient scratching the scalp or combing the hair, spreading the bacteria to the above parts. (III) TCM treatment of tinea corporis Traditional Chinese medicine believes that tinea corporis is caused by improper hygiene of the skin on the body surface, invasion of dampness, heat, insects and toxins into the skin, so the treatment should be to clear away heat and dampness, kill insects and relieve itching. The Golden Sophora Flavescentis and White Flower Snake Toner Wash is made of ingredients such as honeysuckle, sophora flavescens, white flower snake, and Viola yedoensis. It has the effects of clearing heat and dampness, killing insects and relieving itching, and has antibacterial, antibacterial, and detoxification. It can fundamentally eliminate tinea pedis and tinea fungi and can also inhibit the regeneration of tinea fungi. |
