Is a fungal lung infection serious?

Fungal lung infection is actually a relatively serious disease. Most patients will experience severe side chest pain or difficulty breathing. The chest pain will worsen when coughing. They may also experience nausea and vomiting, so they must be actively treated.

Patients with fungal pulmonary infections should pay attention to dietary care. They can be given a highly nutritious diet and are encouraged to drink plenty of water. Patients with critical conditions and high fever can be given a light, easily digestible semi-liquid diet.
