30 grams of brown sugar, 15 grams of fresh ginger, and 30 grams of red dates. Boil three bowls of water until half of the liquid is boiled, drink it all at once, and you will be cured when you start sweating slightly. Dispel wind and cold; treat cold and cough; stomach cold and stabbing pain; postpartum cold and diarrhea; aversion to Yin, etc.

3. Huangjing Rock Sugar to Relieve Cough and Asthma

30 grams of Polygonatum sibiricum (Chinese herbal medicine) and 50 grams of crystal sugar. Wash the Polygonatum odoratum, soak it with cold water, put it in a casserole, add rock sugar and appropriate amount of water, put the pot on the stove, boil it with high heat, and then simmer it with low heat until the Polygonatum odoratum is cooked. Eat the Polygonatum odoratum and drink the soup twice a day; it can clear the lungs, regulate the spleen, and benefit the essence. It is used to treat cough caused by dryness and deficiency of the lungs, dry cough without sputum, difficulty in spitting out, poor appetite and dry mouth, kidney deficiency and essence deficiency, etc.

4. He Xueli Soup nourishes Yin and moistens the lungs

25 grams of lily, 1 large pear, and 20 grams of rock sugar. Soak the lilies in clean water overnight. The next day, pour the lilies and the water into a casserole. Add more than half a bowl of water and cook for 1.5 hours. When the lilies are rotten, add peeled and chopped pears and rock sugar, and cook for another 30 minutes. It can nourish yin and moisten the lungs, calm the mind and stop coughs, and is good for people with chronic coughs caused by lung deficiency. It is also beneficial to the lungs and stomach for ordinary people.
