The causes of these diseases are similar, all of which are caused by cold evil invading the stomach, improper diet, emotional imbalance, liver qi stagnation, yin deficiency in the body, and external cold. The common pathogenesis of these diseases is qi stagnation and failure to harmonize and descend, so the same scraping method can be used to treat them. The stomach is the sea of water and grain, and is responsible for receiving and digesting water and grain. It should be unobstructed and not stagnant. If the Qi is stagnant and fails to descend, stomachaches will occur frequently.
