What are the symptoms of mental excitement

Mental excitement mainly refers to the nervous system being in an excited state all the time. Therefore, we should pay attention to the occurrence of these symptoms and understand what affects our brain nerves and causes uncontrolled emotions.

1. Nervous excitement refers to the state of excitement of the nervous system.

The nervous system is composed of the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system, which usually refers to three parts: the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerves. In terms of the morphology of nerve components, the nervous system is mainly composed of neurons and neuroglia.

2. Brain System

Brain (English: brain, Latin: encephalon) is the main part of the central nervous system, located in the cranial cavity. The brain of lower vertebrates is relatively simple. The brain of humans and mammals is particularly developed and can be divided into three parts: cerebrum, cerebellum and brain stem.

(1) Brain: It is the highest level part of the nervous system and consists of two cerebral hemispheres, the left and right. There are horizontal nerve fibers connecting the two hemispheres. Each hemisphere includes:

① Cerebral cortex: It is a layer of gray matter on the surface (the concentrated part of the cell bodies of nerve cells). There are many grooves (fissures) on the surface of the human brain, and there are raised circles between the grooves (fissures), which greatly increases the area of the cerebral cortex. The human cerebral cortex is the most developed, and it is the organ of thinking. It dominates all activities in the body and regulates the balance between the body and the surrounding environment. Therefore, the cerebral cortex is the material basis of advanced neural activities.

②Medullary: Also known as "white matter", it is located inside the cerebral cortex and is composed of nerve fibers.

③Basal ganglia: It is located in the white matter at the bottom of the hemisphere and is composed of nerve cells.

(2) Cerebellum: Located at the lower back of the brain, it is divided into the middle vermis and the enlarged cerebellar hemispheres on both sides. The gray matter on the surface is the cerebellar cortex, which is divided into many lobules by many transverse grooves. The interior of the cerebellum is composed of white matter and gray nerve nuclei. The white matter is called the medulla, which contains nerve fibers connected to the brain and spinal cord. The main function of the cerebellum is to coordinate the movement of skeletal muscles, maintain and regulate muscle tension, and keep the body balanced.

(3) Brainstem: It includes the diencephalon, midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata. It is distributed with many nerve nuclei or *nerve centers formed by concentrated nerve cells, and has a large number of ascending and descending nerve fiber bundles passing through it, connecting the cerebrum, cerebellum and spinal cord, and connecting the various parts of the central nervous system into a whole in terms of morphology and function. The cavities in various parts of the brain are called *ventricles, which are filled with cerebrospinal fluid. In the human body, the brain is usually divided into four parts: cerebrum, cerebellum, diencephalon and brainstem (including midbrain, pons and medulla oblongata).
