Combined manifestations of extrahepatic bile duct stones: severe acute bile duct stones such as infectious shock or mental disorders are often manifested as acute cholangitis, biliary colic and obstructive jaundice. After the acute inflammation is controlled, jaundice often occurs. Some patients may have varying degrees of liver pain or shoulder-directed symptoms for a long time without any clear explanation during the non-acute inflammatory period, or may only have varying degrees of right upper abdominal dull pain radiating to the back and other manifestations of chronic bile duct inflammation. 2. Abdominal signs without extrahepatic bile duct stones: Some patients may have pain or hepatomegaly on percussion of the liver, in addition to mild or no jaundice. Acute intrahepatic bile duct obstruction and infection are similar to acute cholangitis. In severe cases, patients may also experience obvious pain in the right upper abdomen and under the right rib margin, chills, fever, decreased blood pressure, obvious tenderness, muscle tension or hepatomegaly.
