Chronic renal failure treatment, so the treatment effect is good

Chronic renal failure treatment, so the treatment effect is good

The harm of chronic renal failure is extremely serious, and improper treatment may also cause other complications. At present, there are four types of treatment according to the different symptoms of patients: primary disease and inducement treatment, diet therapy, and alternative therapy. From a clinical point of view, the effect is quite good.

1. Treatment of primary disease and predisposing factors

For patients with CRF diagnosed for the first time, it is important to pay attention to the diagnosis of the primary disease. Chronic nephritis, lupus nephritis, purpuric nephritis, IgA nephropathy, diabetic nephropathy, etc. all require long-term treatment. At the same time, we should also actively look for various inducing factors of CRF. Reasonable correction of these factors may alleviate or stabilize the lesions and improve renal function to a great extent.

2. Diet therapy

Diet therapy for chronic renal failure has been considered as its basic treatment measure over the years and is highly praised by scholars from various countries. Previous dietary therapy was generally limited to the use of low-protein diet, but long-term low-protein diet will affect the nutritional status of patients. Studies have shown that the incidence of malnutrition in chronic renal failure is as high as 20% to 50%. Severe malnutrition is now considered to be an independent risk factor for CRF, which is directly positively correlated with the morbidity and mortality. Therefore, current dietary therapy is more inclined to formulate more reasonable nutritional treatment plans for patients.

3. Alternative Therapies

Including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplantation, each has its own advantages and disadvantages, and can complement each other in clinical applications.

(1) Arteriovenous fistula (vascular access) should be created in advance (several weeks before hemodialysis); dialysis time should be ≥12 hours per week, generally three times a week, each time for 4 to 6 hours; adequate and reasonable dialysis can effectively improve the patient's quality of life, and many patients can survive for more than 20 years.

(2) Peritoneal dialysis? Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) has the same efficacy as hemodialysis in treating uremia. CAPD is particularly suitable for patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications, diabetic patients, the elderly, pediatric patients, or those who have difficulty in making an arteriovenous fistula. CAPD is a continuous dialysis method, in which uremic toxins are continuously cleared, hemodynamic changes are small, and the protection of residual renal function is better than hemodialysis. It is safer than hemodialysis for patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. The use of a dual system has significantly reduced the incidence of complications such as peritonitis.

(3) Kidney transplantation: Successful kidney transplantation can restore normal kidney function (including endocrine and metabolic functions). The transplanted kidney can be donated by a corpse or a relative (siblings or parents). The donor should be selected based on the appropriate ABO blood type matching and HLA matching. The better the HLA matching, the longer the survival time of the transplanted kidney.
