2. Prevention of rhinitis

1. Quit smoking and drinking, pay attention to food hygiene and environmental hygiene, and avoid long-term irritation from dust.

2. During the treatment, it is advisable to cooperate with physical therapy to enhance physical fitness and disease resistance.

3. Avoid long-term local use of ephedrine nasal drops. The nasal mucosa of chronic simple rhinitis is smooth and elastic, and is sensitive to vasoconstrictors; while chronic hypertrophic rhinitis is generally insensitive to vasoconstrictors due to thickened mucosa. Therefore, even after ephedrine drops, nasal congestion will not be significantly relieved, and it will cause olfactory disorders, headaches, memory loss, and may cause "drug-induced rhinitis."

4. Actively treat acute rhinitis. Whenever you have a cold and your nasal congestion worsens, do not pick your nose hard to avoid nasal infection. Pay attention to environmental hygiene, and those who are addicted to smoking and drinking should naturally quit.

5. Develop good hygiene habits of washing your nose in the morning and evening.

6. Pay attention to nasal cleanliness and clean your nasal cavity frequently.
