The two most common causes of high transpeptidase

The two most common causes of high transpeptidase

Transferase is widely distributed in our body. The most common cause of elevated transferase is liver and gallbladder diseases, including hepatitis, cholangitis, and cirrhosis. Non-pathological causes include frequent alcoholism.

1. Physiologically caused high transpeptidase:

For example, when obstructive jaundice occurs, enzymes become abnormal and flow back into the blood, causing elevated levels of transpeptidase. In addition, elevated levels of transpeptidase may also be caused by liver and gallbladder diseases.

Common diseases include viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, cholangitis, primary hepatitis, and extracholangitis.

2. High transpeptidase caused by non-pathological factors:

If you drink heavily on a regular basis, your transpeptidase levels may be temporarily high, but this will usually return to normal once you stop drinking.

It can be seen that there are many reasons for high transpeptidase levels. Further comprehensive examinations should be conducted to judge the condition based on the results and take effective measures to reduce the harm of the disease to the body.
