It is often used for fever, headache, and neuralgia caused by colds. Oral administration, tablets, adults 0.5-1 gram at a time, 3-4 times a day. Other dosage forms include granules.

(6) Taurine, also known as aminoethanesulfonic acid, running, and taurine. It has antipyretic, analgesic, sedative and anti-inflammatory effects, and is used to relieve fever in the early stages of a cold.
