How to drain plasma cell mastitis?

1. Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is an effective treatment for this disease. Different surgical methods are adopted according to different development stages.

(1) Ductectomy: It is suitable for patients with early stage of the disease, general dilatation of the subareolar ducts and subareolar masses accompanied by nipple discharge. The method is to make an arc incision along the edge of the areola, retain the nipple, remove all dilated ducts below the nipple, and wedge-shaped removal of the breast mass tissue under the areola.

(2) Acute stage: The lump in the areola increases in size, with significant swelling and pain, forming an abscess with a sense of fluctuation. Symptoms such as chills, fever, and headache appear throughout the body. Treatment is to clear away heat and detoxify, and to remove blood stasis and reduce swelling.

Honeysuckle, Forsythia, Scutellaria, Gleditsia sinensis (each) 12g, Taraxacum mongolicum 30g, Whole Guawei, Red Peony Root, Raw Rehmannia Glutinosa, Scutellaria barbata, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Raw Astragalus (each) 15g, Roasted Bombyx Batryticatus 9g, Hedyotis diffusa 50g.

(3) Subacute stage: At this time, systemic and local inflammatory reactions are alleviated, localized masses have ruptured, purulent discharge continues, and when sinus tracts or fistulas are formed, the treatment is to clear away heat and reduce swelling, and to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis.
