What are the symptoms of myocardial infarction?

The problem of myocardial infarction must never be ignored, especially sudden heart attack. If it is not effectively treated, it may even threaten life. The precursors of myocardial infarction include pain or arrhythmia. Some people may experience shock, irritability, cold skin, weak pulse, and low blood pressure. Once these symptoms or symptoms occur, seek medical attention immediately.

Premonition 1: Pain

Pain is the most obvious symptom of myocardial infarction, which often occurs when the patient is at rest. The location and nature of the pain are the same as those of angina pectoris, but the pain is more severe and lasts longer, sometimes for hours or even days. Nitroglycerin is ineffective. It is often accompanied by irritability, sweating, fear or a feeling of impending death. But a few patients have no pain.

Premonition 2: Arrhythmia

About 75-95% of patients with myocardial infarction suffer from arrhythmias. These symptoms usually begin 1-2 weeks after the onset of the disease, especially ventricular arrhythmias. Atrioventricular block and bundle branch block are also common, and supraventricular arrhythmias occur less frequently. Anterior wall myocardial infarction is prone to bundle branch block, inferior wall myocardial infarction is prone to atrioventricular block, and supraventricular arrhythmias are more common in atrial infarction.

Premonition 3: Shock

Shock may occur within one week after the onset of myocardial infarction, accompanied by pale complexion, irritability, cold and clammy skin, weak pulse, a drop in blood pressure of 10.7KDa (80mmHg), and even fainting.

Premonition 4: The disease is easy to occur when you are tired, and it will be better after rest.

The patient will experience body pain when he/she does any physical activity or gets excited, and the pain disappears when he/she rests. An important characteristic of myocardial infarction is that it is related to fatigue. It is easy to get sick when you are tired, and it will get better after rest. The pain may not necessarily be in the heart-related area; it may be shoulder pain, back pain, stomach pain, or even toothache or diarrhea. But as long as the pain is related to fatigue, it is best to go to the hospital to check your heart.
