1. Observe the symptoms:

Recurrent, multiple, meaningless twitches or throat clearing in the face, limbs, and trunk; poor self-control, inattention, and learning difficulties; red tongue edges and tips, little or no coating, and a thready pulse; inquire about the child's history of brain trauma and birth history, and whether there is premature birth, difficult labor, or cesarean section that caused cerebral hypoxia, ischemia, or asphyxia. Check whether the child has habitual dislocation of the cervical spine on his back and whether any tender points can be felt near the cervical spine.

2. Hand flip test:

Ask the child to sit at the table and place both hands flat on the table, with the palms facing down first, the thumbs hanging down along the edge of the table, and the other fingers of both hands close together. When you repeatedly flip your hands as quickly as possible, your movements become clumsy and even chaotic; if you do not swing your elbows when flipping your hands, your two little fingers will not be able to come together, and your posture will become even more clumsy. The positive rate was 57.9%, suspicious rate was 39.6%, and normal rate was 12.5%.

3. Finger-pointing test:

Ask the child with ADHD to clench a fist with one hand and use the thumb of the other hand to touch the tips of other fingers in turn. After completing this action, change hands and continue to repeat the previous action. You can also choose to contact the fingers in both the forward and reverse directions, in the order of index finger, middle finger, ring finger to little finger, or little finger, ring finger, middle finger to index finger. When completing the action, if the child's movements are not coherent and flexible, the diagnosis may be positive.

4. Finger-to-nose test:

Ask the children with ADHD to point to the tip of their nose with the index finger of their left hand, first, and then with the index finger of their right hand, 5 times each with their eyes open and closed. At this time, observe the children's coordination and speed in the process of pointing to their nose. Children with ADHD often move too heavily and clumsily, and make many mistakes, especially when they close their eyes, the mistakes are more obvious.
