How to deal with wound exudate

Wound exudate needs to be disinfected, bandaged, changed, the diet adjusted, and the lifestyle improved.

1. Disinfection: If a kidney is injured during class, it may be due to local infection or inflammation. Use a cotton swab dipped in saline or iodine to disinfect the wound in time to avoid bacterial infection and help the wound heal quickly.

2. Bandaging: After the wound is disinfected, use clean gauze to bandage it to prevent local dust or viruses from invading the wound area. It can effectively isolate the wound from the outside world and prevent dirt from contaminating the wound surface. It can also keep the wound surface moisturized and warm, which is conducive to rapid healing of tissues.

3. Dressing change: After disinfection, apply anti-infection drugs locally as directed by the doctor to avoid inflammation of the wound. Taking medication can effectively prevent exudation of local tissues. Also, take oral anti-inflammatory drugs as directed by the doctor, such as amoxicillin.

4. Dietary adjustment: During the recovery period of wound exudation, dietary adjustments should be made. Do not eat raw, cold or irritating foods. Reduce the intake of irritating foods and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, which can help the wound recover quickly.

5. Improve your lifestyle: During the treatment period of wound exudation, you must ensure adequate sleep, avoid external impacts, prevent the wound from cracking, and do not do strenuous exercise.
