Many people may know what perioral dermatitis is, because this skin disease is very common and many people have encountered it. 1. Stop using fluoride toothpaste and fluoride-containing corticosteroids. Avoid all exogenous stimulation.

2. Tetracycline 0.25g/time, 2-4 times/day, for 6 weeks; if the condition is serious, 0.25g/time, 4 times/day. The same effect can be achieved with oxytetracycline, deoxytetracycline, and minocycline. For usage, please refer to acne. Or use erythromycin. Apply erythromycin ointment or clindamycin ointment topically. Metronidazole is ineffective for this disease.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine treatment: remove dampness and strengthen the spleen, clear away heat and detoxify. The prescriptions used are Jianpi Chushi Decoction and Jiajian Huanglian Jiedu Decoction. If inflammation is obvious, add honeysuckle; if there is dry mouth, add pollen and reed root.
