What to do if you have vomiting, diarrhea, general weakness, and chills?

If you experience vomiting, diarrhea and physical weakness, this is often caused by gastroenteritis. We know that unclean diet often leads to food poisoning, which can easily lead to this symptom. Because vomiting and diarrhea are very energy-consuming, it will cause fatigue, fever, and chills. At this time, anti-inflammatory treatment should be carried out in time, and adequate rest should be maintained and drink plenty of water.

What to do if you have vomiting, diarrhea, general weakness, and chills?

1. Antibiotics If the gastroscopy shows a positive Helicobacter pylori test, antibiotics should be taken. Clarithromycin, amoxicillin, gentamicin, furazolidone, streptomycin, kanamycin, tetracycline, and thiocyanate, etc., all have the effect of clearing HP. Generally, two types can be selected, and they are often used in combination with gastric mucosal protectants and antacids. 2. Those with severe upper abdominal pain can take atropine, propantheline, belladonna tablets or 654-2 (25-10 mg) orally to reduce gastric acid secretion and relieve abdominal pain symptoms. Because these drugs have side effects such as dry mouth, palpitations, and difficulty urinating, patients with prostate hypertrophy, glaucoma, cardiovascular disease, etc. should use them with caution or avoid them.

3. Commonly used antacids include cimetidine, ranitidine, famotidine, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), magnesium hydroxide, mesothelin, aluminum hydroxide gel, and gadolinium. 4. Commonly used drugs for protecting gastric mucosa include colloidal bismuth subcitrate (CBS), sucralfate, smectite, mezilin-S, aluminum hydroxide gel, gastric mucosa and gastric mucosa, etc.

5. Adjust gastrointestinal motility function with drugs such as metoclopramide or domperidone for upper abdominal distension. For those who suffer from hiccups, bloating or reflux, gastrokinetic drugs such as metoclopramide, medroxyprogesterone or cisapride (Pribos) can be used. 6. In terms of traditional Chinese medicine, for diarrhea caused by spleen deficiency, Buzhong Yiqi Pills or Renshen Jianpi Pills can be given; for diarrhea caused by liver qi invading the spleen, Tongxie Yaofang or Xiaoyao Pills can be given.
