Rotating moxibustion for constipation

Acupoints: Tianshu, Large Intestine Shu, Shangjuxu.

The moxa stick is moved back and forth left and right on the moxibustion area, or rotated repeatedly for moxibustion. Gives skin a warming sensation without causing burning pain. Generally, each acupoint is moxibustioned for 10 to 15 minutes, and the movement range is about 3 cm.

Ginger moxibustion for constipation

Acupoints: Zhongwan, Tianshu, Zusanli.

Operation method: Cut fresh ginger into slices about 0.3 cm thick, poke several holes with a needle, place them on the acupuncture points, light large and medium moxa sticks and place them in the center of the ginger slices for moxibustion. If the patient has a burning sensation, lift the ginger slices away from the skin for a moment, then put them down and apply moxibustion again. Repeat this process until the local skin becomes flushed and moist. Generally, moxibustion is applied 5 to 7 times each time, 1 to 2 times a day.
