Can moxibustion cure enteritis?

Can moxibustion cure enteritis?

We all know that Chinese medicine moxibustion is becoming more and more popular in medical care. It mainly regulates the patient's body through the pharmacological effects of Artemisia annua. After each moxibustion, the human body will feel particularly comfortable and relaxed. It can also treat many diseases, such as abdominal pain, indigestion, allergies and other symptoms, and can also expel moisture from the body. So can moxibustion cure enteritis?

The suspended moxibustion health care technology is only used for health care, not for the treatment of diseases. Therefore, in the conditioning project, the hanging moxibustion prescription is divided into two categories. One is the basic prescription, which is mainly used to strengthen the physical fitness and improve the disease resistance. It is based on the principle of being simple and easy, with few and precise acupoints and easy to master, and scientific diagnosis is required to achieve the effect of hanging moxibustion. The second is the conditioning prescription, which is designed to target different symptoms and adopts the method of syndrome differentiation and acupuncture point selection.

Moxibustion for treating chronic enteritis

Chronic enteritis refers to chronic inflammatory diseases of the intestines, which may be caused by infections with microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, or by allergies, hypersensitivity reactions, etc. Clinical manifestations include long-term chronic or recurrent abdominal pain, diarrhea, and indigestion.

Causes

It is mostly caused by the invasion of dampness and dysfunction of the spleen and stomach. Chronic gastroenteritis is mostly caused by weak spleen and stomach or liver wood insulting the earth, or the decline of life gate fire, which cannot decompose water and grain. The disease is in the stomach and intestines, but is related to the liver and kidneys.

【symptom】

The clinical manifestations are long-term chronic or recurrent abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion, etc. In severe cases, there may be mucus or watery stools.

The severity of diarrhea varies. In mild cases, patients may have bowel movements 3 to 4 times a day, or diarrhea and constipation may occur alternately; in severe cases, patients may have bowel movements every 1 to 2 hours, and may even suffer from fecal incontinence. Some patients may have nocturnal diarrhea and/or postprandial diarrhea. When the rectum is severely affected, a feeling of tenesmus may occur. The feces are mostly paste-like, mixed with a large amount of mucus, and often contain pus and blood.

Moxibustion method: 1. Use moxa cones for scar-free moxibustion, 5 to 10 times each, and stop when the disease is cured; 2. Use moxa cones and ginger for moxibustion, 5 to 7 times on the Shenque point, 30 times on the Guanyuan point, moxibustion once a day, and stop when the disease is cured.

【Notes】

1. Pay attention to household hygiene, install screens on windows, kill flies and cockroaches, and keep the environment clean.

2. Avoid taking children to public places and avoid eating raw, cold and unclean food.

3. Personal hygiene and hygiene education, especially for those who take care of children, should wash their hands frequently. Wash your hands after changing diapers for children and after contacting children's secretions to avoid infecting children with bacteria.

4. Most patients with chronic enteritis are weak and have poor resistance, so they should pay more attention to food hygiene, not eat raw, cold, hard or spoiled food, not drink alcohol, and not eat spicy and irritating condiments.

5. If patients with chronic enteritis are dehydrated, they can drink some light salt water, vegetable soup, rice soup, fruit juice, rice porridge, etc. to replenish water, salt and vitamins.
