Chinese patent medicine for gout

It is composed of rhubarb, plantain seed, Alisma orientalis, Cyathula officinalis and Stephania tetrandra. Clears away heat, promotes dampness and detoxifies. Used for gout caused by damp-heat and blood stasis. Be careful to eat less seafood, animal offal and other foods; avoid beer and liquor.

3. Ruyi Zhenbao Pills (damp-heat blockage)

Used for plague, chronic fever, white vein disease, numbness of limbs, paralysis, facial paralysis, unconsciousness, arthritis, gout, limb stiffness, and joint discomfort. It is effective for white vein disease. Be careful to avoid sour, cold and alcoholic beverages.

4. Fufang Shenjin Capsule (damp-heat arthralgia)

It is composed of Japanese knotweed, smilax glabra, triangular hollyhock, camphor root, dragon palm blood, smilax glabra, poria, oriental water plantain, and osmanthus fragrans. Clears away heat, removes dampness, promotes blood circulation and dredges meridians. Used for joint pain and difficulty in flexion and extension caused by damp-heat and blood stasis. Not suitable for children and pregnant women.

It is composed of Atractylodes lancea, Achyranthes bidentata, Phellodendron chinense and Coix seed. Clears heat and removes dampness. It is used to treat arthralgia caused by damp-heat, with symptoms including redness and swelling of the feet and knees, and pain in the tendons and bones.

7. Shiwuwei Rupeng Capsule (blood stasis and phlegm congestion)
