What are the symptoms of tibial spondylosis?

In recent years, the incidence of vertebral disease is relatively high, which is related to some changes in people's daily life and work conditions. It often leads to some symptoms in the neck and back, such as dizziness and headache. More serious ones can cause difficulty in swallowing and often feel back pain. If it is more serious, it can also cause radiating pain, and radiating numbness and pain in the fingers.

What are the symptoms of tibial spondylosis?

1. Dizziness and headache.

The symptoms of cervical spondylosis include dizziness, headache, insomnia, etc. At the same time, patients with cervical spondylosis will also feel nauseous. In acute cases, patients with cervical spondylosis may not be able to lift their heads. 2. Swallowing disorder.

This is because the front edge of the cervical spine directly compresses the posterior wall of the esophagus, causing esophageal stenosis and resulting in dysphagia symptoms. There is a feeling of obstruction when swallowing and a foreign body sensation in the esophagus. A few people experience symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, hoarseness, dry cough, and chest tightness. This is due to the direct compression of the posterior wall of the esophagus by the front edge of the cervical spine, causing esophageal stenosis. It may also be caused by the rapid formation of bone spurs, which causes irritation of the soft tissue around the esophagus. 3. Sore and swollen shoulders.

After cervical spondylosis occurs, there will be sore and swollen shoulders, heavy shoulders, neck muscle spasms, and pain when pressing the neck. These are common manifestations of shoulder symptoms in patients with cervical spondylosis. The pain will also be aggravated by excessive fatigue, long-term sitting and improper posture. 4. Chest pain.

It presents with slow onset of persistent unilateral pectoralis major and breast pain, with pectoralis major tenderness on examination. This is related to the compression of the C6 and C7 nerve roots by cervical bone spurs.

5. Decreased vision .

Patients with cervical spondylosis will experience symptoms of visual impairment, including decreased vision, fear of light, tearing, eye pain, unequal pupil sizes, and even narrowed visual field and sharp decrease in vision. Severe cervical spondylosis may also cause blindness. 6. Hypertension and cervical spondylosis.

It can cause high or low blood pressure, among which high blood pressure is more common, which is called "cervical hypertension". Since cervical spondylosis and hypertension are both common diseases among middle-aged and elderly people, the two often coexist. 7. Back symptoms.

The back symptoms of cervical spondylosis may manifest as tight and stiff back muscles, which may improve after activity or massage. Patients with cervical spondylosis may also have pain points on their backs that become more severe after pressure.

8. Cervical-heart syndrome.

Symptoms include precordial pain, chest tightness, arrhythmia (such as cardiac arrest, etc.) and ST segment changes on the electrocardiogram, and it is easily misdiagnosed as coronary heart disease. This is caused by the stimulation and compression of the cervical nerve roots by cervical bone spurs. 9. Paralysis of the lower limbs.

The early symptoms are numbness, pain, and lameness in the lower limbs. Some patients feel like they are walking on cotton when walking. Some patients may also have bowel and urination disorders, such as frequent urination, urgency, difficulty urinating, or incontinence. This is because the lateral vertebral bundle is stimulated or compressed by the cervical bone spurs, resulting in movement and sensory disorders in the lower limbs.
