How can I delay my period?

For healthy and mature women, the menstrual cycle is relatively regular, usually between 21 and 35 days, with an average of 28 days. Occasionally, it may be early or delayed. In life, some things may require menstruation to be postponed. For example, athletes often encounter this situation. At this time, it can be delayed through certain methods, but as an ordinary person, it is best not to use such methods, which is not good for health.

How can I delay my period?

1. Drinking vinegar method: Drink a spoonful of vinegar every night, which can delay menstruation for about 3-4 days. A friend has personally experienced that her menstruation was delayed for four days. The amount of menstruation on the first day will be relatively small, and the amount on the second day will be normal.

2. Take contraceptive pills, such as Norethynodrol I (norethindrone) or No. II short-acting oral contraceptives, starting from the fifth day of menstruation, 2 tablets a day for 2 weeks, and increase to 4 tablets a day from the third week;

① Contraceptive No. I (norethindrone) or No. II short-acting oral contraceptives should be taken from the 5th day of menstruation, 2 tablets per day for 2 weeks, and the dosage should be increased to 4 tablets per day from the 3rd week; ② Oral progestin drugs such as Fukang tablets (norethisterone) or Funing tablets (megestrol) should be taken orally at a rate of 10 mg per day starting from the 16th day of menstruation; ③ Non-hormonal mifepristone should be taken orally at a rate of 25 mg per day starting from the 5th day of menstruation. For travelers, there is only one way, which is simple, easy and effective. That is, starting from the 5th day of the last menstrual period before the trip, take one No. 1 or No. 2 contraceptive pill orally every day and keep taking it until the end of the trip. Generally, the delayed menstruation will occur within 3 days after stopping the medication. 3. Use of progesterone:

The commonly used method is to take progesterone acetate orally, 2-3 times a day 1-2 days before the menstruation is about to come, 3-2 tablets each time and take it continuously. Menstruation will not come during the period of taking it. Determine the number of days to take the drug based on the characteristic that menstruation occurs 3 days after stopping taking the drug. Short-term use of progesterone will not cause harm to the user and will not have any major side effects.

4. Fukang Tablets

Oral progestogens (norethisterone) or Funing tablets (megestrol), starting from the 16th day of menstruation, 10 mg per day;

5. Mifepristone is a non-hormonal drug. It is taken orally at a rate of 25 mg daily starting from the fifth day of menstruation.

Another method is to keep eating spicy and cold irritating foods, but this method is seriously harmful to your health and is not recommended.
