The first urine in the morning is foamy

After getting up every morning, the first thing people should do is to urinate. After all, they have not defecated all night, so they will have a strong urge to urinate and need to urinate as soon as possible. When urinating, many people may look around and not pay attention to the condition of their urine. This is actually not good. Sometimes urine can reflect the health of the human body, especially morning urine should be observed carefully. Some people find that their first urine in the morning contains a lot of foam. Why is that?

Under normal circumstances, there is no foam in urine, and even if there is a small amount of foam, it will disappear quickly. If you suddenly find a lot of foam in your urine and it does not disappear for a long time, your urine is telling you that there is something wrong with your kidneys.

Understanding Chronic Kidney Disease

Chronic kidney disease refers to a glomerular filtration rate of less than 60ml/min/1.73m2 for more than 3 months or renal damage for more than 3 months. Renal damage refers to abnormal kidney pathology or abnormal test indicators, including abnormal blood, urine, and imaging examinations.

Chronic kidney disease is a syndrome, not a specific kidney disease, but a combination of common characteristics of many kidney diseases.

What harm does chronic kidney disease have on the human body?

If chronic kidney disease is not discovered and treated in time, dynamic monitoring and treatment are not maintained, or the treatment is ineffective, a large number of patients will experience a decline in kidney function. When the kidney function declines to a certain extent, it will develop into uremia. At this time, renal replacement therapy, which we usually call dialysis or kidney transplantation, is needed to maintain life, resulting in high medical expenses, low quality of life, shortened survival time, etc.

What should patients with chronic kidney disease pay attention to in their daily lives ?

(1) Pay attention to rest: Patients with chronic kidney disease should pay attention to rest and avoid overwork. Excessive fatigue will aggravate the condition. Generally, the limit is to "not feel tired". When there are signs of active nephritis such as proteinuria, increased hematuria, obvious edema, and rapid decline in renal function, you should rest in bed until the condition improves. After the condition stabilizes, you can get out of bed and move around appropriately, but be careful not to over-fatigue.

(2) Moderate exercise: Chronic kidney disease patients are not advised to engage in strenuous exercise. They can engage in low- or medium-intensity exercise, such as walking, Tai Chi, less intense ball games, etc. Patients with diabetes are advised to exercise under the guidance of a doctor. Proper exercise helps improve the body's overall function and increase blood flow to the kidneys.

(3) Prevention and treatment of infection: Chronic kidney disease patients are prone to infection due to their decreased resistance and the use of some immunosuppressants, such as bacterial infection, viral infection, fungal infection, hepatitis virus infection, etc. The occurrence of infection can lead to recurrence of kidney disease and worsening of the disease. Therefore, patients with chronic kidney disease should pay attention to developing good hygiene habits, such as washing hands before and after meals, ventilating the room more often, avoiding crowded areas, paying attention to the cleanliness of food, keeping warm in cold weather, etc., to prevent infections in the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract and skin. Once infection occurs, active treatment should be given according to the situation.

(4) Pay attention to diet: Dietary intervention is as important as drug intervention for patients with chronic kidney disease.
