Yin deficiency and fire excess type: frequent palpitations and restlessness, sore throat and dry mouth, hot hands and feet, restless and irritable sleep at night, or night sweats, red tongue with little coating. It is advisable to eat foods that promote the production of body fluids, nourish yin and calm the mind, and avoid eating spicy, dry and dispersing foods.

Phlegm-fire disturbance type: often feel palpitations, chest tightness and restlessness, irritability and insomnia, dizziness and bitter taste in the mouth, or excessive phlegm, nausea, and yellow and greasy tongue coating.
